This is a delightful episode. Make sure you check out Uggers recommended reading: Betty and Veronica: A Girl’s Guide to the ‘Comic’ World of Dating because she has scored many dates with this comic.
This week the gang discusses current movies, Chick-A-Dee’s fish birthday, dating and a special valentines day dinner. We need ideas for Chick-A-Dee’s birthday which is coming up fast, so help us out with ideas? Remember we love you and want to stab you in the face. My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard.

All I really have to say is Seth Rogan needs to eat some cookies because he is so much hotter fat. Oh and The Green Hornet had good 3-D but as for everything else I shall explain. Britt Reid (Rogan) becomes heir to his father’s newspaper company and pretty much doesn’t know what to do with the business. First off, I don’t understand why anyone would own a mansion that big when the newspaper industry is absolute but that must be why words like “media empire” kept getting mentioned. Britt meets Kato who was Britt’s Dad’s auto mechanic who also makes kick ass coffee. After a drunken filled evening of male bonding the two decide to cut off the head of his father’s statue which is at his graveside, they run into some tweeker thugs, then decide to start killing off the gangsters in Los Angeles. Yadayada yada they use the newspaper (who reads the newspaper?) to make The Green Hornet into this badass, Cameron Diaz comes in because she cannot find a job as a journalist or an actress. Some other stuff happened and all the bad guys died. The Green Hornet was pretty stupid. I cannot believe Michel Gondry directed this! I have liked everything he has done but the movie studios must have had more power over it which is sad. Jay Chou who played Kato was awesome and totally stole the movie but so did the cars. I seriously want a black beauty now. In conclusion, eat some cake Rogan!

Lots of reviews out there for TRON: LEGACY which are saying the same thing and I believe the honest reviewers are on the bull’s-eye about this movie. I went on a weekend and watched in 3D which I do not recommend paying the extra money because I watched half of the movies with my glasses off. When the fuzzy parts came on then I put on my glasses and I wasn’t blown away. So the movie narrates what went on between the first TRON (1982) and TRON LEGACY. Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) gets stuck in the grid which is filled with crazy violent programs. The grid is like the Mad Max world of computers (if that makes sense). Kevin’s son Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) must save him or something. All I know is that I want to cosplay Gem, the white program who changed Sam’s outfit and she had a kick ass umbrella.
The music in this movie is extraordinary and is worth seeing in the theater because of Daft Punk. The visuals against the movie remind me of Trent Reznor (NIN) musical score in The Social Network because it just makes these movies so epic to watch even if the plot is dull. The plot of TRON is standard for a sequel. I really thought it was silly that Jeff Bridges was stuck in a GRID for over 20 years and no one looked for him? And the ending **spoiler** when his son brought Quorra back, I don’t understand how she survived, isn’t she a program?
So overall, I would say go see TRON LEGACY for Daft Punk and the visuals. Don’t see it in 3D, maybe IMAX, let me know. Oh, buy the soundtrack!!
